Delis offering free connectivity are drawing in more customers, even juicing up the AP coverage to beacon them in. Be a bit careful with the numbers in the cited article, as they are gross receipts, not net margins, so the apparent ROI is deceptively high. Nonetheless, margins on incremental traffic at eateries tend to be pretty good. Score one point for the 'WiFi as amenity' business model.
