Sony's robo-pet gets another update. Among other new features, the digital dog can now be given complex commands by putting cards with colored patterns in front of its dual CMOS eyes.

Hmmm... Mobile gadgets have a known user interface problem of dealing with complex command sets using limited input real estate and modalities. Most new mobiles have CMOS camera sensors. Anyone else see an interesting feature here? Genetic transplant from Aibo?
