An Intel spokesman says that it may be more secure for an enterprise to embrace and manage 802.11 access, rather than have APs smuggled in and deployed by employees. To be sure, Intel has a bit of an ax to grind here, but this does correspond to what's been seen in a lot of wardriving site surveys.
