Dropped by the Blogger merger party at Kelly's last night, and ran into a number of old and some new acquaintences. Dan Gillmor, Noriko Takaguchi, Ross Mayfield (for the second time in two weeks), Kevin Marks (for the second time in 13 years!), Marc Canter and Kim Polese. Marc was jonesing on synchronous broadband final mile and why we should all be doing ATM as proposed ten years ago for VOD systems. For this I award him badge #3 in this blog's Old Fart's Club.

Talked at length to one Google rep, who seemed quite open to directional suggestions for the blogger integration. Kevin and I both strenuously suggested cleaning up the operations side of the show, and opening up a client API as the first two items. We shall see.

Heavy meetings and a couple of deals nearing a close here, so likely not much posting for a couple of days. Another cup of caffeine, prop up eyelids, back to exciting closing docs...
